Character Map is an exploration of letter shapes, found and embedded in the very makeup of the city. It explores textures, deliberate and unintentional markings, broken objects and items that have succumbed to a whole new identity after years of being brutal outdoor conditions. 

The sound pieces don’t focus on one particular aspect of the photographed letters, but rather have been created quite intuitively and instinctive based upon the letter pictures as a whole. Shape, texture, colour and environment inform the sound, as well as imagined scenarios as to how the shapes got there, what they represent and a comment on their function in existence.
